Design:

The contractor for the renovation of the sewage pumping station in Kórnik needed to ensure continuous sewage pumping from the city to the treatment plant during the project implementation.

The task of the pumping system was to create a vacuum in the existing pipeline before the pumping station and transfer sewage over a distance of 1.5 kilometers to the sewage treatment plant, so as to allow the contractor to access the chamber with a depth of 11m.

UPRENT solution:

Within two days, UPRENT has assembled and connected a properly functioning temporary pumping system to the pumping station. The Varisco Tan 2AL vacuum pump produced a sufficiently good vacuum in the suction line of 0.6 bar. Two Hidrostal F10HD pumps successfully effected sewage pumping in the discharge pipeline, where the height difference was 7 meters.

In addition, UPRENT equipped the system with a PLC container controlling the operation of pumps, which at the same time had the ability to send the customer SMS notifications 24 hours a day about possible failures in the pump installation.
